How to change the length of a clip?

Hi,
I’m new to Ableton Live. How can you change the length of a clip? When I drag the corner of a clip, it starts looping at a specific range and cannot change the length further.

I’m using Live v11.3.21.

Open the clip and you’ll see “loop” button toggled by default.

This is a screenshot from Live 12 but similar in Live 11 too.

Alternatively, select the preferable range in arrange area and press Ctrl-J. The clip will be expanded and the loop button is automatically turned off.
